Idabel girls track head coach Sanda Gambol leads a young but hopeful team this spring.
“We are very young with two freshmen and two sophomores on the short relays,” Gambol said.
“If we can stay healthy, we should be good. These girls can run.”
The Warriors’ facilities, including a new all-weather track, should aid in the team’s efforts this
season.
“Before, we ran on the football field,” Gambol said, “so this is a game changer for Idabel. We
can now work on handoffs daily.”
