IDABEL WARRIORS CHEER TEAM
Head Coach: PRINCES’SAI JOHNS
The Idabel High School cheer team is buzzing with excitement as they head into the season with renewed energy and a fresh coaching staff. Led by head coach Princes’Sai Johns, the team has worked hard over the summer, preparing to energize the crowd and pump up the Warriors. “We’ve had an amazing summer, and this team has shown tremendous growth,” Johns said. “We’ve come together, and I’ve seen a lot of progress in our skills and team unity.” The Warriors cheer team aims to captivate the crowd with new routines, precision, and a competitive spirit as they tackle the Game Day competition this year. “We’re ready to bring the energy every single game, and we can’t wait to make the stands roar,” Johns added. Junior leader Quintasia Johnson will continue to bolster school spirit, though it will be from the sidelines: “Quintasia is a standout leader both on and off the mat. Despite being sidelined due to ACL surgery, her dedication to the team has never wavered. She’s resilient, always offering support to her teammates and embracing her role as a leader.”
With their foundation built on teamwork and dedication, the cheerleaders will be pushing themselves to the limit on the sidelines this season. Coach Johns emphasizes the importance of chemistry within the team. “What makes this group special is how they’ve bonded. We’ve focused on building a solid team culture, which will be key to our success,” she said. Londyn Brown is an underclassman to watch on this squad: “Londyn is a rising star who is growing each day. As a first-year member, she’s making great strides and is showing the determination and drive to be a key player in the future.”
Zoe Rolen, a cheerleader with a strong dance experience: “Zoe brings a unique blend of talent and energy to the team with her strong dance background. She’s the heart of our team, always keeping the mood light while being a professional, and her contributions often go unnoticed, but they are invaluable.”
The Warriors are set to support their school with precision and passion, backed by their standout performers, including All-American honorees Yazmine Sandoval, Emerson McElroy, and Katie McClure.
