Olivia Ramsey is a freshman powerhouse at Idabel High School who excels in powerlifting and varsity cheerleading. Olivia displays contagious enthusiasm and a strong desire that personifies the spirit of sportsmanship and competition.

For Olivia, the thrill of competition serves as her primary motivation. Whether she’s cheering on the sidelines or lifting weights in the gym, the opportunity to compete brings out the best in her. It’s this drive to excel that propels her forward, pushing her to new heights of achievement.

Behind Olivia’s success lies the unwavering support and guidance of her mother, who serves as her biggest influence and role model. “My mom always pushes me to do my best in anything I do,” Olivia said.

Success in sports, according to Olivia, requires more than just physical prowess—it demands dedication, practice, and a positive mindset. “You have to have a positive mindset,” she asserted, reflecting on the importance of mental fortitude in achieving one’s goals.

A highlight moment in Olivia’s career came when she clinched first place at the Junior High Powerlifting meet—a nod to her hard work and dedication.

When it comes to competition, Olivia embraces the challenge of facing different opponents at each meet. “Each meet, I have a different opponent, so it is about the strategy of beating my opponent that day,” she explained.
